AreaByOwner.com also serves as a professional, affordable and (most importantly) easy-to-use website to allow sellers to list their home or property for sale themselves without the need for a real estate agent.

Why Create An FSBO Website?
I have been asked by many people (including relatives, friends, and others) the same question when I started AreaByOwner.com: "Why did you create another for sale by owner website? Aren't there plenty of FSBO sites out there already?"
When my wife and I were looking for our first home, and as we continued to help friends and relatives search for homes that fit them, we used the internet as a primary tool. We visited the large real estate websites, many local agency websites, as well as several "by owner" sites. The entrepreneurial spirit of selling a home oneself had always intrigued me. But when I looked at the websites, tools, and guidance available to those who wanted to give it a try, I found many of them to be difficult to use, confusing to find homes, and rather unprofessional looking. With a strong background in web design, technology, and the visual arts, I decided to do something about it and created AreaByOwner.com.
The Goal of AreaByOwner.com
AreaByOwner.com was created in the spirit of making the process of buying and selling homes sold by owner more straight forward and simple. The website will provide its visitors with an easy-to-use way to find homes for sale, find land for sale, provide the tools to help sellers list and manage their homes easily and professionally, and the resources and services to bring the two together.
